Andreas Hoffmann ist interdisziplinärer Künstler und Dozent mit den Schwerpunkten Performance Art, Installation, Video und Fotografie. Seit 1990 arbeitet er international als freischaffender Künstler.
Seine Arbeiten untersuchen den Menschen im Spannungsfeld von Körper, Natur und sozialen Beziehungen. Aus performativen Studien des eigenen Körpers entwickelt er Projekte, die Performance, Skulptur und mediale Verfahren verbinden. In den letzten Jahren liegt sein Fokus auf sozialen, medialen und partizipativen Formaten, die Fragen von Wahrnehmung, Kommunikation und gesellschaftlich-politischen Prozessen verhandeln und Räume für interkulturellen Austausch schaffen.

Andreas Hoffmann is an interdisciplinary artist and lecturer working in performance art, installation, video, and photography. He has worked internationally as a freelance artist since 1990.

Emerging from performative investigations of his own body, his works combine performance, sculpture, and media-based approaches.
