ECHT JETZT! 23 – zusammen finden
Das Festival ECHT JETZT! 23 stand unter dem Motto „zusammen finden“ und reagierte damit auf ein gesellschaftliches Bedürfnis nach neuem Miteinander, Zusammenkommen und gemeinsamer Suche. Nach dem Fokus auf „Freedom · Rules“ im Vorjahr rückte 2023 das Bilden von Gemeinschaften und neuen Konstellationen in den Mittelpunkt.
Ensembles, Künstler*innen, Theater- und Kulturgruppen waren eingeladen, Kooperationen einzugehen, neue Partnerschaften zu entwickeln und gemeinsame künstlerische Arbeiten zu schaffen. Die Resonanz war groß: Rund 30 sehr unterschiedliche Beiträge entstanden, mit einem starken Schwerpunkt auf der Beteiligung von Kindern, Jugendlichen und jungen Erwachsenen.
ECHT JETZT! 23 präsentierte sich regional, jung, bunt und äußerst vielfältig – geprägt von einem generationenübergreifenden Mix aus Genres, Gruppen und Gestaltungsformen. Spielorte waren der Heimatmuseumsgarten in Reutlingen, die Reutlinger Innenstadt mit performativen Interventionen sowie die Platanenallee auf der Tübinger Neckarinsel im Rahmen des Stadtfestes.
Das Festival wurde durch die Unterstützung der Städte Reutlingen und Tübingen sowie durch Stiftungen und Verbände ermöglicht und lud das Publikum ein, gemeinsam auf die Suche zu gehen: zusammen finden.

ECHT JETZT! 23 – finding together
The festival ECHT JETZT! 23 focused on the theme “finding together”, responding to a growing social need for reconnection, shared experience and collective exploration. Following the previous year’s theme “Freedom · Rules,” the 2023 edition placed community-building and collaboration at its core.
Ensembles, artists, theatre and cultural groups were invited to form new constellations, seek partners and create joint artistic works. The response was overwhelming: around 30 diverse contributions were realized, with a strong emphasis on the participation of children, young people and young adults.
ECHT JETZT! 23 presented itself as a regional, young, colorful and highly diverse festival, shaped by a mix of generations, genres, groups and artistic formats. Performances took place in the Heimatmuseum garden in Reutlingen, through performative interventions in the city center, and at the Platanenallee on Tübingen’s Neckar Island as part of the city festival.
Supported by the cities of Reutlingen and Tübingen as well as various foundations and associations, the festival invited audiences to join the search and experience what it means to find together.
